BLUEPRINT FOR X SOCIAL SCIENCE

Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi has made some changes to the class 10 Social Science Question Paper for March 2010 examination. The Latest Design of Question Paper along with the unit wise distribution of marks and number of questions have been given here. There will be total 29 questions in the paper from 2010 onwards. Students are advised to go through the sample papers and marking scheme for details. The changes made in the question paper may also be accessed at CBSE official site.

There will be 2 questions of 1 mark each at serial number 1-2 of the question paper.

There will be 4 questions of 3 marks each at serial number 11-14 of the question paper.

There will be 1 question of 4 marks at serial number 19 of the question paper.

There will be 1 Map question of 2 marks at serial number 29 of the question paper.
Unit-2 India –Resources and their Development (Geography) will have total 20 Marks.

There will be 4 questions of 1 mark each at serial number 3-6 of the question paper.

There will be 3 question of 4 marks each at serial number 20-22 of the question paper.

There will be 1 Map question of 4 marks at serial number 29 of the question paper.
Unit-3 Democratic Politics II (Political Science) will have total 20 Marks.

There will be 2 questions of 1 mark each at serial number 7-8 of the question paper.

There will be 2 questions of 3 marks each at serial number 15-16 of the question paper.

There will be 3 questions of 4 marks each at serial number 23-25 of the question paper.
Unit-4 Understanding Economic Development (Economics) will have total 20 Marks.

There will be 2 questions of 1 mark each at serial number 9-10 of the question paper.

There will be 2 questions of 3 marks each at serial number 17-18 of the question paper.

There will be 3 questions of 4 marks each at serial number 26-28 of the question paper.
